Plumber in Cromer
Cromer is a proper town rather than a village, with a year-round population, a lot of Victorian building and a hospitality trade on top.

Working in Cromer
The town grew as a Victorian resort and the housing shows it: tall terraces, guest houses and hotels near the front, with ordinary twentieth-century housing behind. Plenty of the big houses have been divided into flats.
It is about fifty minutes from base. We arrange Cromer work in advance and group it with Sheringham and the north-east coast on the same day.
Where we get called
- Cromer Pier and the seafront
- The church and the town centre
- Overstrand Road
- East and West Runton
- The Sheringham and North Walsham roads
What goes wrong in Cromer
The housing here has its own habits. These are the jobs we get called to most.
Tall Victorian houses, divided
A four-storey terrace split into flats usually has one original stack doing work it was never sized for, and hot water travelling a very long way to reach the top floor.
Guest houses cannot close
A B&B with no hot water has a problem that cannot wait until Tuesday. Where we can, we plan work for the quiet months and keep the season for emergencies.
Seafront exposure
Anything on a north-facing seaward wall takes salt and driven rain year-round. External pipework and flue terminals need checking more often than they would inland.

What people say
Archie arrived when he said he would and sorted out the leaky joint quickly and efficiently. Very pleased.
